Seasons

It's a new season, it's got me thinking a little about the seasons we have as Christians in our walk with Christ. For everything that happens in the spiritual there is always a parrallel in the natural/physical realm right?! So it is with seasons.

Winter. The bleak, cheerless and difficult season. Everything around seems to be coming apart at the seams. Most of the season we feel like hibernating, or curling up in a ball because the Siberian weather is unbearable. It's a season where we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.(2 Corinthians 4:8)Nevertheless when faith arises regardless of what we see in the physical it becomes a cozy winter with Christ right by our side. It may be chilly outside, but it  sure is rosey inside. It's a season we learn to rely on Christ alone.

Spring. A glimpse of hope springs forth. It's a sign that a glorious new season is approaching. Even though we may not quite be in summer yet, we rejoice knowing that summer is nearly here.
Psalm 30:5 says, "...Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

Summer. The season where nothing but the glory of GOD shines through. The harship is over. Looking back at the past seasons we are confident that it was nothing but the hand of GOD that got us through. For the Lord will have turned our mourning into dancing; taken off our sackcloth and clothed us with a garment of joy. (Psalm 30:11-12)

Autumn:  The cycle begins again. Slowly but surely everything begins to fall apart again. The winter looks bleaker than the last; for no winter has characteristics that are excatly the same as the last. When GOD is ready to elevate you to a new level the trials, tribulations and temptations are stepped up a notch too. But guess what HIS WORD REMAINS THE SAME.(Hebrew13:8)

He is GOD, regardless of season.

Yours Truly,
            Miss B
