My Pinky Promise

My promise ring finally arrived in the post today from Pinky Promise.
When I ordered this ring I thought I was simply going receive a cute ring, but it came with this little card which made me stop and examine myself. I realised that this wasn't just about rocking a cute Christian ring, it's actually symbolic of a commitment to Christ. A commitment not to be taken lightly. I'm so grateful for this because I definately needed this. A massive thank you to Pinky Promise Movement team again for not just making cute accessories but for ministering through them and impacting lives.

Oh & did I mention it's the perfect size for my ring finger too!!

The Work Out

Bonjour beauts' :)

I recently got persuaded to join the gym. I will have to admit I was never big on working out and busting a sweat. Now, its my favourite hangout spot. I absolutely adore the place, I walk out feeling like an Olympic champ every time with my energy levels nice and high. I discovered something pretty amazing while everyone was working out which I wanted to share with you

Check this out

In the gym there are treadmills, weights, bike etc. Everyone is working out on each machine solely concerned about reaching their individual goals. Some are working towards marathons, keeping fit and healthy, loosing weight, muscle building, toning, bikini bodies for holiday etc. Those who work out a lot can be seen by their muscles, toned bodies etc (You get the idea right?!)

As Christians we have some working out do to every day, every moment for the rest of our lives. The Word of God says,"...Work out your OWN salvation with fear and with trembling." I emphasize on own because salvation is personal.(Me, Myself and I). We should all have spiritual goals to work towards. One is allowed to be selfish when it comes to anything that messes with their salvation. We use the word of GOD as a mirror to keep us on track as we press toward the goal of the high calling. Our focus is not on how our brother or sister who's in the next lane is doing but its on Christ alone. We are here to provoke one another unto love and works. So, lets remember we are all in our lanes and our focus is on Christ alone.

Phillipians 2:12
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Hebrews 10:24(KJV)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Phillipians 4:13 (KJV)
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
